Issue
- Oven displays SAFE or padlock symbol. It indicates that the child safety lock is activated

Resolution
If your oven displays SAFE or a PADLOCK symbol:
- CHILD LOCK is activated
- PYROLYTIC CLEANING is running (when the oven cools down to a safe temperature the door will automatically unlock)
How to activate/deactivate child lock/safe mode
Rotary Dial Display
Activate
- Ensure the knob for the heating functions is in the off position.

- press and hold at the same time for 2 seconds. - The signal sounds. SAFE
- appears on the display. - The door is locked.

Deactivate
- press and hold at the same time for 2 seconds.
Activate
1. Ensure the dial for the heating functions is in the off position.

4. The door is locked

- Press Child lock

- To disable, choose the code letters in alphabetical order.

- Press Menu
- Press Basic Setting Menu
- Once activated, Child Lock appears on the display when you turn on the oven.

- To deactivate, choose the code letters with the rotary knob in the following order: A B C or E O U
VCU display
1. Activate the appliance.
