Thanks to their new built-in format, they fit perfectly into standard kitchen cabinets without any additional adjustments. You can choose between extracted air, where filtered air is expelled outside for maximum efficiency, or recirculation, where the air is purified and returned to the kitchen – an ideal solution without ducts. The innovative filter system prevents condensation and protects your furniture from damage.

Thanks to the new installation format, the hob now easily fits into standard 60 cm kitchen cabinets, without additional cut-outs. Even in worktops from 28 mm thick, the installation can be seamless.

With 28% fewer installation steps, assembly is faster and easier than ever. The free niche ventilation and ductless 'plug & play' system ensure maximum flexibility, without major adjustments.

On the new AEG ComboHobs you have the choice between two installation options: air extraction or recirculation.

Exhaust:
In this mode, the filtered air is exhausted outside through an exhaust duct. This requires a hole in the wall, but provides a higher airflow rate and efficiency, quickly removing cooking odors.

Recirculation:
In recirculation mode, the filtered air is recirculated back into the kitchen. This is ideal for situations where you cannot install an external exhaust. It is a sustainable, energy-efficient solution without the need for exhaust pipes or major renovations.

Innovative Filters for your Extractor Hob

The right filters are crucial for optimal performance of a hob with integrated extraction. Enjoy a fresh kitchen, without unpleasant odours with the innovative filters from AEG

AEG ComboHobs are equipped with a grease filter and a carbon filter, allowing them to be used in both exhaust and recirculation modes. For optimum performance and longevity, the grease filter should be cleaned regularly, which can be easily done under the tap or in the dishwasher. For installation with air exhaust, only a grease filter is required.

The carbon filter is regenerable in the oven up to eight times, which extends the service life to approximately 1200 hours. This not only ensures efficient filtration, but is also a sustainable and cost-saving solution.

Cost-saving: The reusable carbon filter can be regenerated up to eight times, extending its lifespan by up to three years, reducing the need to purchase new filters.

Ease of use: The filters are designed for quick and easy maintenance, so you can always continue to cook optimally without any hassle.
Smart technology: A built-in notification reminds you when it's time to clean the grease filters or regenerate the carbon filters.

Grease filter

The grease filter traps grease particles that can build up during cooking. To ensure the filter's performance, it must be cleaned regularly:

Dishwasher : Clean the grease filter in the dishwasher with standard dishwashing detergent.
Manual : Wash with warm water and a mild detergent. Use a soft sponge or brush.
Drying : Allow the grease filter to dry completely before reinstalling.

Carbon filter

The carbon filter keeps the air in your kitchen fresh by neutralizing odors. The filter also needs to be maintained properly for a longer life:

Manual : Wash the carbon filter with warm water, without cleaning agents.
Dishwasher : Wash at 65-70°C (90+ minutes), without other dishes.
Regenerate : Place the filter in the oven at 100°C for 120 minutes, maximum eight times.
